The Epson AcuLaser C2800 color laser printer was introduced across Europe in December 2007, targeted at small businesses and workgroups. It had an OEM-rated duty cycle of 60,000 pages per month, and print speeds of 25 pages per minute (ppm) for black and 20 ppm for color printing (A4).
The supplies set is made up of a 100,000 page yield transfer belt unit and four toner cartridges. The printer ships with 6,000 page high yield color and 8,000 page high yield black cartridges, with replacement cartridges available in high yield and 3,000 page black and 2, 000 page color low yield versions.
Toner cartridges are chipped, with the chip board attached to a housing with a wire coil antenna similar to the one found in Dell® 3110 cartridges.
